Having moved up to MotoGP® in 2017 with Team Suzuki Ecstar, Álex began to show his true potential in 2018 with 5 podiums. In 2019 he claimed two victories including a win at the Americas GP. It all came together in 2020 with a win at Aragon and multiple podium finishes for a 3rd overall in the series.
